I love it when you talk of the gravitational
fields as being separate from the particle.
Because they are; the particle absorbs the field energy,
but in no way produces it.
The protons need a steady flow of energy because
there is a steady flow of burnt-out electron that
needs to be re-charged. The electrons are
steadily radiating because that's what they do.
That's what stars do, also.
