Axioms of Time, Space, Gravity, Velocity, Accelleration -
According to the CATS Theory Of The Universe v1.00a
1) Our universe is a reality-simulation (ie. not just "software")
running in a giant quantum-computer. The people operating this
are just simulating a universe. They are scientists, probably even just students.
In their own universe this simulation is running maybe only a few weeks
or months now, but for us it is of course running billions of earth-years.
We should not think of them as Gods, they are just researchers,
and they wouldn't like to be called Gods, since they are very intelligent
who know that Gods are a bad thing for independent and free thinking.
Their society has reached nearly the highest possible level of science,
they do nothing but research, it's their sole way of life.
Everything they have automated, most probably even this simulation itself
is the product of this automation, maybe there are even many such
simulations running in parallel.
We should not waste our time by speculating what their true motives might be.
They are so advanced and so far from us, we better should concentrate ourself
to our own universe only, and most probably exactly this is also expected from us.
They obviously study our universe (at least they collect data), they learn
also through us; of course they learn from our work and from our universe
much more and much advanced things than we do (ie. they have better analyis
methods, apparatus and software). They are seeing it in a more global context.
But that all is of course unprovable speculation at this time of ours.
(Remember the movie "The 13th Floor" :-)
2) Most probably there are also other universes besides our own universe.
A connection between many or select universes is theorectically
possible, at least a communication link. But this all is at this time
mere speculation; we rather should concentrate ourself to study first
our own universe throughly instead of making such unprovable speculations.
3) Everything, except the Absolute Time (see below), in our universe is
quantizied (cf. Planck units), even the space itself. This is due to the
clock tick of the computer we are in. :-).
4) Our universe was created through the Big Bang (cf. WMAP data, CMBR)
5) Everything has its own characteristic maximum possible speed.
6) The speed of light in greavity-free vacuum space is constant and invariant (cf. c).
7) Like everything else, also light gets attracted by gravity fields.
8) Velocities must be added/subtracted only using a proper method.
(FYI: the "relativistic velocity addition" formula used in RT seems not to be the correct one)
9) Faster than light speed (FTL) is possible, even zillion times c is possible.
10) Gravity does propagagate at the max. possible speed of our universe
(~ 6.18E+34*c m/s)
11) Time is absolute and unbendable. Time is always existent. It existed
even before the BigBang. Absolute Time is the only thing that is not quantized
(because it is not real :-). Absolute Time is the fastest thing ever.
Nothing can be faster than Absolute Time.
The computer our universe is in uses a clock tick that is in Planck units.
Ie. probably 1/tp (~ 1.85E+31 THz) is its frequency.
But this is just a handy value for us for our calculations and "measurement" of time.
We call this the "Universe Time" or "Machine Time".
As said the real 'speed' of time (Absolute Time) is unlimited.
The 'speed' of time is constant and invariant.
12) It is always possible to use the Universe Time or to define a common
inertial frame, ie. a common viewport of the region of the universe of interest.
This eliminates any need for relativity a la RT.
13) It is always possible to use the Universe Time as reference,
for time calculations (esp. time dilation calculations), and for
synchronization of local clocks.
The Universe Time is defined for gravity-free space only (ie. where g=0).
Times in gravity fields are called Local Times. And the personal time of
an object is called SelfTime (or Eigenzeit, or tau).
14) Every mass forms a gravity field around itself
which is attractive to everything.
15) Space is 3D, absolute and unbendable. Space can grow or shrink
at the sides, but this does not change the framework of the space;
it will only cause mass to increase or decrease, and this usually will
cause a change in the gravitational field(s) in that region of the space.
The framework architecture of the space is the same everywhere,
but other properties of space can be different in some regions,
for example if it contains gases etc.
16) At the center of an object in space the gravity field has
the value zero (and here Local Time ticks like the Universe Time).
17) The intensity of the gravity field has its peak value at the surface
(here meant for spherical objects).
18) Inside a mass the intensity of the gravity field is linearly
increasing towards the surface.
19) Outside a mass the intensity of the gravity field is g=GM/(R+h)^2
where h is the distance from the surface. This is the classical Newton formula.
This formula is the most important formula of the universe.
20) For an object in a gravitational field its SelfTime goes slower than
in gravitation-free space (Universe Time), ie. time dilation is happening.
21) An accellerating object causes a gravity field around itself.
This is the mirror functionality of gravity, ie. there is a natural symmetry,
also called the equivalence principle.
22) For an accellerating object in a gravitational field its SelfTime goes faster
the weaker the field gets, and vice versa; ie. the direction of the movement is important.
Ie. time dilation is happening.
23) For a moving object in a gravitational field its SelfTime goes faster
the weaker the field gets, and vice versa; ie. the direction of the movement is important.
Ie. time dilation is happening.
24) For an accellerating object in a gravitation-free space its SelfTime
(here SelfTime = Local Time = Universe Time) goes slower than for an object at rest
(or which has a smaller accelleration) in gravitation-free space.
Ie. time dilation is happening.
25) For a moving object in gravitation-free space its SelfTime
(here SelfTime = Local Time = Universe Time) goes slower than for an object at rest
(or which has a smaller velocity) in gravitation-free space.
Ie. time dilation is happening.
26) We should not model our universe as 4D, instead we should
use the natural 3D of space plus Universe Time (ie. all SelfTimes and Local Times
should be converted to Universe Time in such calculations).
27) Is everything deterministic? The more one knows the better one can
predict what will follow. Since we can't know everything, the consequence
of this is that nothing is deterministic. We can give only a probability
(cf. Heisenberg's Uncertainity Principle, Schrödinger equation)
28) An "aether" is not needed for light.
Here the space itself can be seen as the "aether".
29) Light particles (photons) are not massless. No particle can be massless.
Even gravitions (carriers of the gravitation) do have a mass. It is just too small
to be measured by our current technology.
30) Mass is invariant. Weight is dependent on the intensity of the gravity field (or accelleration).
31) Length contraction is only an optical illusion, nothing real.
32) What about MWI ?
This indeed could be real. Ie. it would mean simulating every possible outcome.
Then it's a highly effective, compact and fully complete simulation we are in.
But: time travel is not possible; see the next point.
33) What about time travel?
Time travel is not possible. Only time dilation (ie. aging relatively slower
or faster) is possible by using the methods described above (ie. high speed
and/or a strong gravitational field do cause SelfTime to go slower than
Local Time or Universe Time, ie. one ages slower compared to someone
in a gravity-free field who is at rest or has a smaller velocity).
As said "time dilation", and also "Blueshift" and "Redshift" of light rays,
are caused and explained by the above facts and relations.
We should study especially the characteristics and the architecture of the space.
This will enable us to reach speeds even multiple factors beyond light speed.
We should not invent any wishi-washi definitions like "bending of time",
"bending of space", or "bending of single dimensions of the space (x, y, z)" etc.
We should leave such crackpottery to RT :-)
We should just know very good the above said effects of time, space,
gravity, velocity, and acceleration, and not do any woodo-physics
or any unprovable speculations beyond this.
Everthing should be kept simple, mathematical and logical,
and should be provable, at least in theory.
Let's create such a universally valid catalog of laws of the macro universe.
In the atomic world we should follow Quantum Mechanics.
Hopefully one day both will be united in just one theory, the theory of everything (TOE).
Sorry for possible typos and for my poor english.
I hope it's still clear what the CATS theory means and stands for.
