First Principles? At the base is only experimental knowledge.

Sorry, you are wrong. Consult any textbook on thermodynamics.

Consider the following statement:
"Temperature is used as a measure of the internal energy or
enthalpy, that is the level of elementary motion giving rise to heat
transfer."

Yea, in classical thermodynamics.

What is the elementary motion? If it is atoms vibrating then those
vibrations take place at the speed of sound. This is the level of
simplicity of my argument. What exactly is heat? You Eric have failed
to refute any of the content that I have provided. Perhaps a flash
will hit you but unfortunately you and Sam are both biblical
physicists. Please give me a specific definition of heat that you can
stomach. I have listed numerous quotations that are not my words. This
is the issue that I want to discuss, not crystallography. I seek the
input of others and will expand this thread to see if I can get
someone who will address the issue.

Open a fucking thermal physics textbook and stop wasting my time.
