Hi everybody! I want to know how to optimize ionization of air. I know
that natural ionization depends on its temperature, its humidity,
gases mixture; so I want to know first, on artificial ionization,
besides those elements ¿ionization level is increased by a rising on
ionization voltage? I mean to you can understand well what I´m trying
to say, lets imagine this device: You have an air pump (for instance a
wind blower) so with this you pump air to a metallic grille that is
connected to a DC high voltaje generator; then supposedly the air what
passed through the grille comes up already ionized, so, at this point
¿Am I right on my idea?
ya b spot on, sassy,
if affirmative then, 1) ¿while higher voltage
at the grille, more molecules get ionized?
yar b right yet again.
2) ¿while narrower the gaps
of the grilll at the same ionization voltage, more molecules get
ionized?....
yea b ok!
try sharp points on one side and screen mesh on the other.
too much spark makes too much O3
well that was only an idea but ¿what do you think to
maximize ions productions? Ideas, corrections, explanations about the
topic, I´ll thank you!! bye
what you got,
a fan blowing air through a highvoltage field.
you can buy them on the internet, called ion generators or Ozone generators
There is a cheap one that was mass produced in the 70's that works quite
well.
Clean rooms use them too.
