Pete Strong or weak gravity only changes photons wave lengths. Same as
motion. Star moving towards us shows blue photons(high energy photons)
and if the star is moving away from us its photons are red.low energy
Best Pete you read what Einstein was telling us in his relativity
theories. Bert
I have. In fact he stated exactly what he said in his 1911 paper "On the
Influence of Gravitation on the Propagation of Light".
Read a derivation of what I said here
http://www.geocities.com/physics_world/gr/c_in_gfield.htm
Notice that no approximation has been used. Those are exact quantities given
the stated metric (of which I used two different ones)
Einstein's Eq. (3) in his paper is my Eq. (5) in that link. After the
equation Einstein states
--------------------------------------------------------------
The principle of th constancy of the elocity of light holds good
according to this theory in a different form from that
which underlies the ordinary theory of relativity.

Question - Did *you* read what "Einstein was telling us in his
relativity"???
Pete
