Tom Potter judges without knowing the facts.

You've taken to adding blank lines in the middle of sentences,
Tom Potter... I like it. Who but a former coder would ever do that ?
Things went well for you in your life, I suppose, you won the jack-pot;
so now you want credit for that.
But life is not the simple, the future is not that predictable.
Some people got rich just because of who they happened to be,
where they happened to be... and when.
My past-due child support ( dating back to early 1988 )
carries a compound interest of 12 percent a year;
so, before taxes and lawyers, I'm a million dollars in the hole.
This growing debt carries with it automatic, never-expiring liens
and only my ex can forgive the debt, not a judge.
Now, how was I to know, back when I was only 23, with my second child,
surrounded by affluent, intact Morman families, that my then-wife would
divorce me to marry a man who'd give her more kids and more money,
leaving me nothing but huge liens ?
I think I had “ Insulin Shock ” last week,
when I woke up in a cold sweat, with powerful lower-back cramps
and an adrenaline rush... too nauseous to stand up.
My dad was dependent on insulin injections
and we have reason to believe that
his dad died of diabetic complications when he was just 49.
Being 47 years old, I might not have much longer to live.
Did I pull the slot-machine arm the wrong way or what ?
You judge without knowing the facts.
