Ahem...of course we all know what you mean, and we all know that you
know what you mean. :)

However..given that there are apparently a *large* number of active
pilots who insist on preserving their decades-old, incorrect
perceptions on what makes a plane fly, and given that this is a
physics group, it might be slightly in appropriate to say that a
vacuum pulls on the top side of a wing.

Better to say, "...partial vacuum on top side of wing does not push
down on top side as much as it did before plane started moving."
