Re: My recent beating, my evictions,
my lack of savings/income, my depression, etc.,

You concluded:
â?o Having opinions is never free.
What did you make the opinion for ? You plan to use it for something ?
If not, I wouldn't bother having it. â??.

No, it was more a case of â?o killing the messenger â??, I feel.
More importantly, the deeper lesson is:

â?o If, by pure fate, an attractive girl wants to live with you,
you must either tell her â?o no â?? or be prepared to lose your mind,
your money, your future income, and... possibly... your life. â??.

You told me:
â?o Lets try develop an Internet product and make a lot of cash. â??.

Like MicroSoft, Google, FireFox, Adobe, and Yahoo ?

It's not that easy...
There are tons of operating systems, but only MicroSoft makes money.
There are tons of search engines, but again, Google dominates.

There are tons of web browsers; but, as far as I know,
only FireFox makes money ( 60+ mega dollars per year ).

Jeff, if you are half the programmer you claim you are.

and if your needs are as small as you claim they are,

all you have to do
is put up a half way decent web page,
and live off the Google ad clicks.

If you put up such a web page,
I, and I am sure others,
will donate to your cause,
by visiting your page,
and clicking on a few Google ads,

even if your web site stinks.

If you don't have any good ideas for a web site
that would attract traffic, solicit advice.

Here's an idea for you.
Call your web site "Down and Out".

Feature organizations that help
"Down and Out" folks,
like the Salvation Army".

Mention that you are "Down and Out",
and would appreciate a few clicks on the Google ads.
( But do this subtlety.)

Put copy and key words on your site
that will get your web site noticed.

It appears that Google searches
only display ads specific to a searcher's location.

For example, if I do a Google search from
Beijing on hotels, I get a batch of Beijing hotels,
but a search on "Salvation Army"
I get a lot of Yahoo ads, but no Google ads.
