I suggest that if modern trolley lines were built
in Manhattan, and cars were banned,
and the free market was allowed to function,
that there would be plenty of people
who would "pedal".

The body odor problem solves itself.
For example, when I hail a cab,
if the cab smells bad, or of smoke,
I tell the driver I'll wait for a better
smelling cab.

Any urine and feces can be solved
by installing public rest rooms about the city.

In fact, it might be a good idea for you
to buy a pedacab and get in on the ground floor,
as you would be stronger and healthier,
and no doubt have a more positive mental attitude.

Science has found that fat, lazy people
are not only unhealthy,
but they are not as happy as active folks.
