Standing waves of energy.

Each atom is a standing wave
which feeds on itself. This means
energy requirements for that part of
space are lower than for the space
surrounding it. It takes much less
energy for the atom *not* to decay
than for it to break down. So atoms last
forever.
(some exceptions)
Similarly, from the point of view of
travelling right beside it, emr is also
a standing wave, and it would require
more energy to stop it than to let it go.
Energy must *recycle* in some way
in order to *be*.
