We need one. It's a non-trival cryostat setup. Any pointers? Thanks.

Any "pointers" would have to depend on a lot of data which you have
yet to provide us:
- What temperature are you seeking to maintain, and to what precision
and accuracy?
- What ambient conditions will the device need to endure?
- How long must the device operate?
- What needs to be kept cool?
- Do you have any special engineering requirements to be met: e.g.
transparency in the IR range, stirring, etc.?
The amount of information you can receive varies directly with the
amount of information you are willing to provide.
We do the best we can with the information we have available to us. So
far all you have let us know is that you need a cryostat. An ice cube
is a cryostat. So is a liquid helium refrigerator.

Hi, Tom:-
Thanks for your response.
Yes, it's helium, 4K. Some special requirements, virtually none of
which I can discuss in public. Apparently I did not make the query
clear enough-- as the subject line suggests, I'm looking pointers to a
qualified expert in such designs as we're in the process of revising
an existing cryo design.
The guys here are qualified in many ways with helium AND cryogenics,
and are likely to have the time to work on your problem. They are on
the Federal Payroll, and are *supposed* to be here to help. My old
friend Sam Burton I know will be glad to help
