This is a good place to mention, after biggus' tirade above (gee,
didn't persuade enough people to smear enough other people today?),
that biggus has an analog in Politics, namely those who believe in
Civilian Control of War by Diplomacy and Espionage as opposed to
Military Control of War. Biggus would be off sci.physics under
Military Control of the current War against Islamist nations Iraq,
Afghanistan, Iran, Syria, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, "Palestine", but
under Civilian Control propagandists and trolls and graffiti artists
and Civilian "moderators" (compare the Comintern of the USSR) rule.
Civilian Control of War has lost every War that the USA engaged in
since WWII. In fact, WWII had Military Control of War in the USA and
U.K. in fact if not in name. After WWII, we let the "Cold War" in
with Diplomacy and Propaganda and occasional intermittent isolated
(not coordinated) Military actions against one nation at a time except
for the ones that had no economic value to Multinational Corporations
and Big Government Advocates like Afghanistan. We lose the Korean
War to a stalemate, we lost the Vietnam War and with it Laos and
Cambodia. Reagan "won Grenada", a tiny and useless piece of real
estate that reminds me of the farcical U.K. victory over the Falkland
Islands.
But probably the ultimate in futility happened in 2006 when the
Democrats went with Jobs only and the Republicans went with Self-
Defense only. This is the ultimate type of Dunce-ery in politics,
the one-issue Civilian Party that creates a half-dead nation, killing
off working people for Self-Defense or Self-Defenders for work. And
we've got both of those Parties. Parliamentary Democracy was intended
for Peacetime, not Wartime when the external Enemy uses Military
Control of War and the internal corrupt Civilians use Economic
Dictatorship and control of News Media Corporations and the Academic
and Service Employees Mafias to tear the nation apart.
