I took a some pictures of a laser pointer spot on some paper with a
cheapie
usb camera from about 2 ft. Pictured is several pictures combined
together.
The difference is I adjust the focus closer with each picture. At
about
one
inch a pattern cleared up that shouldn't be there. There are no
vectors
available. It moved with the camera like moving a slide under a
microscope.
Anybody got an idea what this is?

pattern
should be nearly random. Thanks for your input.

point source doesn't have the vectors to create the observed pattern.
Interference cannot generate new vectors. I'm still confused. Thanks for
input.
