Geomagnetic... never heard of that one!

Geothermal - Iceland uses it. Not much use unless you live on
the mid-Atlantic ridge. Yellowstone power station for greenies.

Tidal - Possible in the Bay of Fundy or the Bristol Channel,
the two highest tide zones in the world. Not much use for
London or New York.

Nuclear - very practical, works anywhere, already in use.

Solar - Works fine in deserts. Not much use for London's
cloudy skies and short winter days.

Wind power - very practical, works anywhere, already in use.

Here's one for the Dwib: how to colonise Antarctica, a whole
continent loaded with both known and unknown natural resources?

I'd like to see it terraformed...
I know! Ship all the malcontents there the way Britain colonised
North America and Australia, greenies first.
