Where can I read all the details of the computation of this number?
Look up inverse symbolic calculators.
Great idea! So was the other suggestion to google 1.00115965218, but
it didn't really work.
What I get from a Google search is that this is the
magnetic moment of the electron (relative to the Bohr
magneton). It worked fine for me.
In what sense did it "not really work" for you?
I started looking through some of the books I have that might relate to
my question. The Review of Particle Physics has literature references
to measurements and the theoretical calculation in recent years. So,
I'll look up those references.
So you already knew this was the magnetic moment of the
electron? Then what was your question exactly?
