3. GUNS: YET ANOTHER UNIVERSITY SHOOTING RAMPAGE.
Before the Super-Tuesday primaries I got a dozen emails telling me "a vote
for Huckabee is a vote for the Second Amendment." I don?t care how much
fun people get out of blowing away cottontail rabbits and mourning doves,
this is the 21st Century and it?s time to start controlling the
availability of hand guns and assault weapons.

Only honest citizens can be disarmed. The end to impromptu crime -
mugging, rape, break-ins, theft, school shootings - is an armed
citizenry. When everybody can be concealed carry, such crime is no
longer viable - it's suicide. An armed society is a polite society.
Only an unarmed society screams "havoc!"

Support evolution - shoot back. The imposed alternative begs an armed
response,

An advocate makes virtue of failure. The worse the cure the better
the treatment - and the more that is required. Hunger is due to
weather, famine is due to politics.
