to have to go... "hat in hand" to a university to try to get
acknowledgement of my new science truths. That's because those who
teach at such universities were too naïve to have discovered those new
truths for themselves!

I was deeply incensed by all of those National Geographic articles,
and TV science shows talking about a Big Bang that could only have
happened if time and space didn't exist... in the beginning. As an
architect who thinks quite well in 3D, I believe that space exists
whether or not there is matter to fill it. And time exists, whether
or not there is matter to have its movements be recorded. All of the
relativity explanations of Einstein seemed to me to be counter-
intuitive. So, I have attacked him with great motivation!

In the nearly six years since I contacted Furman, the explanations of
my various disproofs of Einstein have not changed. Because of my nil
results with universities, I deliberately wrote original letters to
most of those, trying to find a "psychology" that worked, and an
explanation in words that could be understood by... physicists. I have
come to realize that physicists have a lower verbal ability than most
college graduates. It is the "vagueness" of many of the terms in
their equations that allows so many mistakes to go unchallenged, and
uncorrected. Because I explain things "in words", physicists have
difficulty.

Many more people are reading my letters, posts and replies than are
taking the time to reply, themselves. Please reply! No longer is my
subject area just 'unimportant' science. It now includes my
discoveries of the complete and total failure of our universities'
cultures (no exception yet known to me) to revise their status quo
teaching when errors are pointed out. And the complete and total
failure of our governments to hold universities accountable. And the
complete and total failure (no exception yet known to me) of our so-
called news media to concern themselves with science at all, and
especially to hold governments accountable for letting universities
defraud the students, parents and taxpayers.

Folks, corruption is rampant in this country! I urge readers of this
to tell others about what I have found. By word of mouth or
otherwise, only if the citizens can become incensed by the bad things
I have found about this country, can the pressure be brought to bear
to begin to correct the problems. Please ACT on this USENET news. It
may be the last medium for truth(s) in America! -- NoEinstein --

Department of Physics
Furman University

Dear Professor Baker:
My sister is a Furman alumna. She reads her alumni magazine and
is impressed by the work of your Department of Physics. In the summer
of 2001, when I began doing research on issues of relativity, she
suggested that I use Furman libraries. What I found through reading,
analysis and experimentation, is that Einstein's Special Theory of
Relativity, and his (too) famous equation, E = mc^2/ (1 - v^2/
c^2)^1/2 , is patently wrong. Such conclusion withstands the fact that
the above equation, and its far-reaching implications, have been
taught to half-a-dozen generations of the world's scientists, and had
been considered "one of the few things on which physicists agree".
April 19 of this year, I successfully tested a new geometry
interferometer of my own design. Such test confirmed mathematical
analysis, that the 1887 Michelson-Morley interferometer experiment was
incapable-by its design-of detecting Earth velocity effects--from
luminiferous ether drag, or otherwise. Such is because it lacked an
unchanging fiducial zero light course or control.
Few 'masses' have a greater inertia than a publisher, teacher or
scientist being asked to acknowledge an error in current thinking that
is so indelibly printed in black and white. To do so requires putting
oneself into an unbiased mindset. If wrong in accepting the new
reality, one might be subjected to teasing or intellectual ridicule.
Better to "bury ones head in the sand"...
Since April, I have contacted the 'noted publications' with my
discoveries, but I have not found the level of objectivity that good
science demands. Attached is a letter to JETP Letters. Might
Russians be more objective than the Americans and the British?
Professor Baker, if you intrigued enough, and hopefully open-
minded enough to read and understand the enclosed article, Inconstancy
of the Velocity of Light, and if you concur with my reasoning, I'm
willing to carry my interferometer to Furman so you and your
associates can witness my experiment for yourselves. It might just be
that the main reason I haven't found a publisher is because I lack
institutional auspices. I would certainly consider and appreciate any
suggestions you might have for getting my findings published in the
USA.
I hope you had a wonderful holiday. I'll wish to hear from you
soon, if you are so moved. Thank you for your time and this
consideration.

Very truly yours,

Department of Physics
Furman University

Dear Professor Baker:
Thank you for taking the time to write. I enjoyed reading the
articles you enclosed, and I appreciate your suggestions for getting
my article published.
What I learned about the Michelson-Morley experiment impacts, if
not obliterates, the rationale for E = mc^2/ (1 - v^2/ c^2)^1/2. My
article treads softly, however, because I know many dedicated and well-
meaning scientists embrace Einstein's findings. Who am I that I think-
for-myself? If the rationale of others was flawed in understanding
Michelson-Morley, then perhaps some of the rationale is flawed in
understanding other experiments and mathematical 'proofs'.
Your letter referred to well-established energy relationships,
that, I assume, refers to the above equation. Let me offer some
tidbits:
Mass can be converted into energy, but it isn't established that
the quantity of energy is in any way, consistently, a function of the
velocity of light--constant c or otherwise--and not a dozen other
quantities, or collection of quantities. In short, Einstein's
equation is simplistic.
The reverse of the above is that mass can be created from
energy. Such is true, but not without qualifying the type and mode of
application of the energy. Just as most concentrations of lasers on
fuel pellets don't produce fusion (yet), most applications of energy
don't produce mass. If they did, your frying pan would soon get so
heavy you couldn't lift it. Walking very fast down a flight of stairs
doesn't make one gain weight. However, changing velocity does change
momentum.
Electrons of varying velocities may seem to have changed mass, as
manifested by the amount and direction of their deviation of course in
magnetic fields. However, electrons tug along an ether-like fluid,
even in a vacuum, and it is primarily this charge-sympathetic fluid in
the near vicinity of the electrons that responds to magnetic fields,
and not some 'changed mass' of the electrons. Electrons of higher
velocity drag along a larger amount of this fluid and therefore
deviate more under the influence of magnetic fields. Think of it as a
grain of sand caught in a gob of spider webs. Tug the gob, and the
grain of sand, or the electron, moves in proportion.
Gravity obeys the Inverse Square Law, and Einstein's equation
didn't have anything to do with it--warped space (ha!) or otherwise!
The original mindset of Michelson, Lorentz and Einstein in trying
to understand the Michelson-Morley experiment was that 'ether drag'
should have produced a slowing of the velocity of light. Please
consider this: If there was an all-pervasive ether capable of slowing
light, then the Earth would now be shrouded in darkness, or at least
we would be precluded from seeing our universe beyond the very red
near solar system.
And please consider this: If objects compress with increasing
velocity as Lorentz supposed, then Earth and all the other planets
would, after billions of years, have stopped rotating. Rotating any
object would alternately compress and release the compression on such,
imparting accruing energy and a wobble due to the changing masses that
would have heated the Earth to levels unsuitable for sustaining life,
or, more probably, stopping the rotation so, like on the planet
Mercury, only one hemisphere faces the sun.
Finally, according to Einstein's interpretation of Lorentz-
FitzGerald, increasing an objects velocity compresses it and it stays
compressed until the velocity is reduced. Such an interpretation by
Einstein defies all the laws of mechanics of materials and structural
design principles. After all, there is such a thing as elastic
rebound, but Einstein was too 'smart' to realize it.
Again, thank you for your response. I hope all of your endeavors
are going well.

Very truly yours,

The *heads-in-the-sand bad attitudes of NC universities toward seeking
TRUTHS in education, is just the tip of the iceberg, nationally.
[*Also see my similarly titled, earlier post:http://groups.google.com/group/sci.physics/browse_thread/thread/ca773...
]

In my nearly seven year odyssey to get my disproofs of Einstein
recognized, the following universities, and one college, have come up
lacking:

1. MIT -- Places more emphasis on 'the form', and the *precedence,
then it does on the simplicity and the elegance of the arguments.
[*i.e.: It requires one to show that what is presented is an evolution
from the status quo, and thus supports the status quo as "the
foundation" of what is allowed to follow.]

2. University of Colorado -- Ditto the above response.

3. Furman University (SC) -- Ditto the above response.

4. University of Chicago -- Beginning in 2007, no response of any kind
to exhaustive appeals to the science head, Robert Fefferman (a
mathematician) and to top administration.

5. Davidson College (NC): No response to several appeals to the
college president, including my offer to demonstrate my X-Y-Z
interferometer.

6. University of NC -- No response of any kind to exhaustive appeals
to the physics department at the main Chapel Hill campus; and to a
computer simulation specialist in modeling scientific events. Later,
there was a token reply from UNC President Erskin Boles, an
acquaintance, who promised to give my materials to an appropriate
person(s). But Boles didn't reply to my follow-ups, nor accept my
offers to demonstrate my X-Y-Z interferometer.

7. Georgia Tech -- No response of any kind to my exhaustive appeals to
the head of the science department (a mathematician), and my
especially strong offers to present my X-Y-Z interferometer at their
convenience.

8. University of Georgia -- No response of any kind to my exhaustive
appeals to the head of the physics department, an Englishman, and my
especially strong offers to present my X-Y-Z interferometer at their
convenience.

9. NC State University -- No response of any kind to my exhaustive
appeals to the head of the physics department, and to a computer
simulation professor; and my especially strong offers to present my X-
Y-Z interferometer at their convenience.

10. University of Virginia -- No response of any kind to my exhaustive
appeals to the head of the physics department, an astronomer; to the
provost, a physicist; and to the university president. And no reply
to my offers to present my X-Y-Z interferometer, at their university,
at their convenience.

11. University of Florida -- No response of any kind to my exhaustive
appeals to the university president, a dentist, and my offers to
present my X-Y-Z interferometer at their convenience.

12. University of Maryland -- A blatant turn down by the university
president of my all or nothing appeal, including my offer to present
my X-Y-Z interferometer at their convenience.

13. Virginia Tech -- No response of any kind to my exhaustive appeals
to the university president. And no reply to my offers to present my
X-Y-Z interferometer, at their university, at their convenience.

14. Cornell University -- No response of any kind to my exhaustive
appeals to a German professor who specializes in audio and other non
destructive testing of materials.

15. Penn State University -- A teacher in the "Gravity Department",
Martin Bojowald, wrote a research paper on: "The Big Bounce". Such
paper relies on Einstein's... "Space doesn't exist near super massive
objects." idea. I informed Bojowald of my Einstein disproofs, and
sent him all of my materials. I requested that he put a caveat
paragraph at the beginning of his, then, not yet published paper
stating that Einstein has been disproved, thereby invalidating the
purpose of his paper... which was financed, in part, by the NSF...
Getting no reply from Bojowald, I wrote to the Dean of the
Graduate School, Eva J. Pell, informing her that obtaining funding for
research projects that are based on false premises is a felony.
Additionally, I informed the university president the same thing. I
then got a reply from the PSU counsel, a Mr. Courtney, Esquire,
informing me that my "rights' had not been violated by anything that
Penn State had done.
Realizing that I had discovered a willingness of PSU to obtain
research funding money, and state money, to knowing teach things that
are untrue, I informed Penn. Governor Edward G. Rendell. I told him
that he is legally obligated to protect the best interests of the
Penn. taxpayers. And I told him that if he did not do so, then he
would be guilty of aiding and abetting felonies. I never heard from
him...
The above scenario with Penn State, and the State of Penn. not
caring that the taxpayers are being cheated, is the same bury-its-head-
in-the-sand negative response that I have gotten from NC Governor Mike
Easley. Easley is apparently willing to CHEAT the NC taxpayers,
because the non-existent news media in NC won't hold him accountable.
They're more interested in the advertising money in their pockets from
new industries being lured to NC--because of the (non existent)
'quality' education, available, there--than they are in the money being
WASTED by the naive citizens of NC on... supposed 'quality' education...

16. Case Western Reserve University (Cleveland, OH) -- I informed
physicist Lawrence Krauss that the M-M experiment, that is in one of
their basements, lacks a CONTROL, and is thus invalid. This
university, periodically, gives a "Michelson-Morley Prize" for
'outstanding' work in science. Stephen Hawking received such award in
2003. I informed Krauss that CWRU would benefit by announcing to the
world my discoveries. I also informed their new lady president, an
attorney, that CWRU would be committing felonies to let students pay
tuitions to "learn" things that are knowing false. And I told the
lady, she would be similarly guilty for not correcting this bad
situation. She did nothing...

17. Wake Forest University (NC) -- After checking that such university
doesn't seem to be "corrupted" by science research grant money from
the NSF, I urged the physics department to confirm my findings. They
did nothing.

18. Appalachian State University (NC) -- Realizing that universities
are willing to be criminal and "teach" falsehoods, I wrote a pointed
letter to the ASU president, and the head of the sciences school. I
informed those men that they had a fiduciary responsibility to teach
only truths, and if they did not, it would be criminal. I sent a copy
of this long, emailed letter to NC Governor Mike Easley, and attached
pivotal articles and files to the governor. Neither ASU nor Gov.
Easley has responded appropriately. Nor have any of the 90% of NC
newspapers that I have twice apprised of those crimes. Like I have
said, Governor Mike Easley should resign, and the heads of all of the
Universities I have mentioned should be fired.
