Then don't use the noun. You never read me using the adjective
"competent" when referring to you, do you?
"Fingers of God" refer to huge huge super structures in space, and
they seem to point toward us, which implies we live in a unique place
in the universe.

respect every point in the universe.
Theoretically, sure.
All 4(pi) steradians at every
point in the universe exactly equidistantly point to the Big BAng.
Theoretically, sure.
Fact is, these fingers seem to point at us.
Maybe, from another point in the universe, fingers point at them too.
But there is no observations from other points in the universe.
