Slap n' tickle

The slap and tickle effect is when during experiments with Bose
Einstein Condensate, you bleed off all the energy from an atom, and
using the analogy of a nucleus as a bubble in the quantum foam, as the
skin of the bubble slaps the quantum foam, as the bubble is emptied of
its contents, that slap, that momentum, has been translated from the
mass of the nucleus.
That is the remaining mass, being translated into momentum, and that
technically, could be considered a way to detect the Higgs Boson.
So you could say, its already been detected, its just that people have
not got around to formalizing it yet.

In the Bosenova, you have a small implosion as the matter drops below
the level of detection then you have a small explosion as it rebounds
due to the elasticity of the quantum foam. Technically it is going
back in time, then coming forward in time. And at time 0, the now,
some atoms are lost as they flat line into the foam itself.

Now as they do this, as they flat line, as any one nucleus flat lines,
there is a small detectable amount of momentum that can only be
explained by the skin of the nucleus, slapping against the background
of quantum foam. Then it becomes one with the foam background.
But it has been detected, experiments have been done and well that is
the smallest detection of any mass effect, the effect itself being
extremely faint but detectable. And its not called the slap and tickle
effect that is merely what I call it. But a Higgs Boson as a particle,
is merely a measure of that energy at one place and time.

So although more work needs to be done, the wave people are far ahead
of the particle people once again and on budget as usual.


As far as being able to download the Stones anthology in a 2 seconds
well they must be big Stones fans at CERN. The grid sounds mahvellous,
but the actual content itself, that is worth downloading, would take a
mere 5 or 6 minutes tops. Do we really need all that information
rushing all over the planet and is this yet another attempt to reroute
all the traffic in the world through filters, to censor out the good
porn?
