Hi Ng
i have an other interesting idea to entertain you:
I call that plug and play physics (or object oriented).
So whats that?
Someone posted a message about "The Object Oriented Universe" on
Wolfram's board this morning:
http://forum.wolframscience.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=1550
My paper contains code for an OOP Universe too:

I think this is very fertile ground for a new field in physics.
Hopefully some of the seeds that are being planted as we speak will
grow up and gain some attention!
