I would think that someone was trying to
con folks into thinking
that that web site is an edu web site,
so they can sell "educational resources",
and rack up change from Google Ad Sense clicks.

perhaps he should emulate you
and use the url EDU-PHYSICS.ORG
and point out that he was
"associated with" Dartmouth.

I will say that you do feature pretty good content,
but in my mind you cheapen your site,
and yourself by pretending to be something
