no they prove that you can fool yourself into believing you have a
point... since chart zooming has nothing to do with nature...

Whether space expands or light decelerates the net result is the
duration of the light's journey increases.
They're equivalent in many many ways.
So I came up with a prediction.
Somewhere, WAY WAY out there, the light starts moving SO SLOW it all
comes to us as the CMB.
That means there might be structures near that distance that are
partially recognizable and partially the CMB.
That would be awfully hard for the big bang to explain.
