I am pleased to see that PD confess
that he "seized on the opportunity"
offered by my post calling attention
to the fact that he
"not think that Sam Wormley <was> capable
of defending his use of a misleading URL
( edu-observatory.org )"
and used it as an excuse to invoke "mockery".
mockery
1: insulting or contemptuous action or speech : derision
2: a subject of laughter, derision, or sport3
a: a counterfeit appearance : imitation
b: an insincere, contemptible, or impertinent imitation <makes a mockery
of
justice>
4: something ridiculously or impudently unsuitable
Hopefully, now that PD has that off his chest,
he will begin to make rational, intelligent posts
on serious issues, rather than attacking messengers.
When the so-called messenger doesn't have any message of any value,
then it's fine to mock them for thinking then have a message of value.
I am sadden to see that PD engages in self-hate,
and urges posters to "mock" him.
I might point out to PD,
that although he is not too bright in physics,
that there are other areas where he could feel adequate,
like stamp collecting, growing flowers, etc.
It may be that the reason that PD invites folks to "mock" him,
is because of the guilt he feels for betraying America
and the world, by siding with, and defending
the gang that instigates conflict and war for power and profit.
Rather than engage in self-hate, and invite "mockery",
I suggest that PD should reject the gang that instigated
the Class Wars of the 1900's, and is instigating the
Religious Wars of the 2000's,
and was responsible for 911,
and the decay of Germany, then Russia, and now America,
and leave the "Dark Side" and come over to the side of
the majority of the world, and promote peace and brotherhood.
