Wow!  I am amazed by how many people I talk to and how many posts I
see on the forums these days that agree with the "need" to reduce the
population.

Nothing says geezer like someone who's so far stuck in the time warp
of the past that they still think there's a population explosion.

Get with the times, man! (Is that the right 1960's baby boomer
neologism there?)

The world population curve has been concave down since 1989. Birth
rates have dropped like a rock particularly since 2000 (and especially
in the Middle East). It's doubtful the population will even reach 8
billion.

This has gone hand-in-hand with the deluging of colleges and
universities worldwide by women which, as of 2005, now comprise the
majority of college students on the planet -- even (and especially!)
the Middle East, where Kuwait's recent concern about re-segregating
its colleges by is laughably ironic given that they're all
practically all-girls' schools already, anyhow. Even in Saudi Arabia,
3/5 of the college students are women, because of the deluge. In the
Cariibean ... well, you have to wonder why American (male) students
don't take a permanent spring break in some of the colleges over
there. By now, the s there have got to be so desperate they that
they must be doing each other (like a women's prison).
