WHAT'S NEW Robert L. Park Friday 16 May 08 Washington, DC
2. EINSTEIN'S GOD: PUTTING THE RECORD STRAIGHT.
Like many scientists of his era, Einstein often used God as a metaphor for
forces of nature that are not yet understood. As a result, he is often
incorrectly cited as a physicist who believed in God. It happened again
in yesterday's AEI debate. Ironically, at that very moment a January 3,
1954 letter from Einstein to philosopher Eric Gutkind went on sale in a
London auction house. The letter, handwritten in German one year before
his death, described belief in God as "childish superstition," and
ridiculed the belief that Jews are "the chosen people." The letter sold
to someone with "a passion for theoretical physics," for $404,000, 25
times the pre-sale estimate

The following news was on CBC News on May 15,2008:
<http://www.cbc.ca/world/story/2008/05/15/einstein-letter.html>
A letter written by Albert Einstein in which he dismissed
belief in God as a "product of human weaknesses" was
auctioned off Thursday for more than $330,000 US. The
letter, written in German in 1954 to philosopher Eric Gutkind,
In the letter, Einstein writes "the word 'God' is for me nothing
more than the expression and product of human weaknesses,
the Bible a collection of honourable but still primitive legends
which are nevertheless pretty childish."
Einstein, who was Jewish, also rejects the notion that Jews
were God's chosen people: "For me, the Jewish religion like
all other religions is an incarnation of the most childish
superstitions," he wrote.
He added that "the Jewish people to whom I gladly belong, and
with whose mentality I have a deep affinity, have no different
quality for me than all other people.
"As far as my experience goes, they are also no better than
other human groups, although they are protected from the worst
cancers by a lack of power. Otherwise, I cannot see anything
'chosen' about them."
Basti personally comments:
Well, such an understanding demonstrates that he had an
overall narrow viewpoint about the universe. I imagine he
was possibly out of his mind a year before his death.

Dr.M.Basti who operates anagrammically in a "Drab Mist",
just made "Bad Trims" in his assessment of Einstein's mind in
1954. Very lucidly and finally confessing in 1954, just a year
before Albert folded his relativity tent, closes his umbrella,
kicked the bucket & finally puffed, but left behind vast hordes
of his Einstein Dingleberries (1 set of which resides in this NG)
to stink up & retard the intellectual level & quality of physics,
Einstein wrote a letter to Besso in which he said:
::AE:: "I consider it quite possible that physics cannot be based
::AE:: on the field concept, i. e., on continuous structures. In that
::AE:: case nothing remains of my entire castle in the air, gravitation
::AE:: theory included, [and of] the rest of modern physics." . [ &
::AE::elsewhere] "why would anyone be interested in getting
::AE:: exact solutions of such an ephemeral set of equations?"

As far as Einstein's notions on Jews and religion, he was not
far off the mark because he, like more and more people do
realize, that:
== Religion is a tool that is used
=== by the few to *** the many.
==== Nobody is born religious.
===== Religion is an acquired disease.
====== Amen!... ahahahaha... OR...
======== Religion is Opium for the masses,
========= according to Marx & Lenin.

Einstein apparently did realize that all religious believers and
followers of Monotheism are being mentally damaged goods
ever since they bought into
