All observation points to loss of frequency, and expanding time.

As if you'd know

That matches every observation.

As if you'd know

Oh right you already admitted you don't so go away....

But how many band-aids does expanding space need, before we realize
it's not the best mechanism to explain expanding time and a loss of
frequency?

First off time does not expand,

If the space that light travels through expands during its trip,

Then the time it takes to complete that trip at a constant speed goes
up too.

Increasing space means an increasing duration.

Hubble redshift is what is observed, and f = 1 / t

secondly there are no band-aids
holding expanding space together, it is consistent with SR, GR,
Conservation of Energy, Red Shift..., and guess what Mike your idea
violates all of that and much much more.... so go away....

It is consistent with what we've observed if you include inflation.

Inflation is a band-aid, an ad-hoc solution to problems with the big
bangs predictions.
