The campaign slogan of Barack Obama touts: “Change you can believe
in!” But any ‘change’ which doesn’t correct our government’s near
total departure from principles of democracy, is missing the most
important thing that needs to be changed!

From the beginning, Obama has had the backing of the Democratic
Party’s leadership. And that’s contrary to sound principles of
democracy. If the latter had been adhered to, the party leadership
wouldn’t have taken sides nor would they have played favorites. In
state-after-state Obama got the ‘block vote’ of 90 plus percent of
Blacks. Block votes—regardless of the sex, race, color or creed of
those in the block—are anti democracy, plain and simple. That’s
because voting decisions should be INDIVIDUAL ones—not based on ‘the
consensus’ of any biased group. The latter should never be allowed to
be substituted for the might-have-been wisdom of those individual
voters! Nor should voting decisions be based on the subtle, or not so
subtle, endorsements of anyone in the media; in government; nor in the
private sector. IN A DEMOCRACY, VOTING DECISIONS MUST BE MADE BY EACH
INDIVIDUAL VOTER—WITHOUT ANY BIASED, OUTSIDE INFLUENCES WHATSOEVER!

I agree, in principle, that there’s nothing wrong with having a Black
become President. Many Blacks are intelligent, fluent people. A good
President of the USA needs to be an intelligent, fluent person. But
the main ‘justification’ for electing a Black to be President must
have a more important basis than just the color of his (or her) skin.
Skin color, ipso facto, isn’t a qualification for holding any public
office. And if skin color was the standard for judging one’s
qualification to hold public office, such a standard would be
unconstitutional—even in our present and most outdated document.

To have REAL change, we must depart from the ways of the past! Barack
Obama is bragging about how he can appeal to… “both sides of the
aisle”. But by saying those simple words, Obama is touting that he is
ANTI DEMOCRACY. Political parties, and the UNCONSTITUTIONAL rules of
Congress, are for the express purpose of allowing “certain people” to
have more power than the Constitution grants. All of the “seniority
and majority party” allocations of power are now, and always have
been, anti democracy!

Barack Obama is deluded if he believes that he can bring about real
change—simply by continuing to embrace the failed processes of the
past. His chances of success vary from slim to none. The REAL
impediment to having worthwhile changes enacted by Congress is this:
Big Business is “in bed with” our supposed representatives. That
shameful interaction goes much further than the more or less public
influences of lobbyists. The ‘ax’ that businesses hold over
Congress’s heads—and in many cases, over the heads of those in the
Executive Branch—is that it costs hundreds, if not thousand of times
more money to get elected to public office than should be required!
So, it isn’t too difficult to see why the corrupt media will do
everything in its power to be sure that the candidate or candidates
who spend the most money on advertising will get elected to their
respective public offices.

The founding fathers had to include in our government an anti
democracy US Senate in order to get the disparate, thirteen states to
ratify the original Constitution. Now, in the best interests of
democracy, I have ELIMINATED the entire US Senate! There’s no unfair
discrimination against any state. Oh, some the ’small’ states might
not like losing their having the same number of senators as large
states. When the small states did have such equality, they had more
influence than a well-principled democracy would allow. State
governments which have modeled their constitutions on the US
Constitution will have to eliminate their senates, too. Of course,
when my New Constitution is ratified, the ‘prestige’ of saying that
one is a senator, anywhere, will be no more. But rejoice, People!
The efficiency of our governments will nearly DOUBLE—and while cutting
the costs by Billions, if not trillions of dollars!

Firing the collective anti democracy senators will be a simple and
prudent thing to do. But correcting that pseudo branch of government
known as—the media—will be much more involved. Due to dire necessity,
the First Amendment’s guarantee of… ‘freedom of the press’ has been
changed in my New Constitution. The new wording is: “…freedom of a
PRO DEMOCRACY press.” That simple change will send to the
unemployment lines every single person in the media who comments on;
give assessments of; polls regarding; or who openly or tacitly
endorses any candidate for public office; or who touts even the
slightest nuance of any pending public policy as being good or bad.
In short, no professionals in the media shall be entitled to influence
the outcome of any governmental process above the one-person-one-vote
influence guaranteed by the New Constitution!

On a typical day, there is more “news” in the colored scrolls of type
coming across the bottom of your TV than you’ve ever see or hear on
the purported news programs that are appearing LIVE, just above. Even
with those scrolls, biased editors weed out 95% or more of what the
general public is entitled to know. They favor information about
celebrities or media figures over “mundane” news that involves John Q.
Public. The media’s mantra—that shall be changed—is: “We in the
media, and only we in the media, determine what Americans are entitled
to know.”

Be it known: The media, as well anyone who holds, or has held, a government office or job shall be culpable, retroactively, if any of its members interfere with—in any manner whatsoever—the ratification processes for the New Constitution. The least punishment for such a felony is three years in prison. It shall be treason, to flagrantly organize a resistance to having a one-day, democratic vote on the New Constitution. The punishment for such treason includes banishment from the USA; life in prison; or death. <<<<<

So, as the media continues on its merry course to RAPE democracy in
America, each person so employed, including the likes of: Tim Russert,
Jack Kafferty, Rush Limbaugh, Larry King, Wolf Blitzer, David Gurgen,
Jeffrey Toobin, Gloria Borger, Jamal Simmons, Roland Martin, Bill
O'Reilly, Donna Brazile ad infinitum should be most careful about
putting themselves in jeopardy by “handicapping” the continuing race
for President.

And those don’t-make-too-many-waves commentators like Lu Dobbs should
consider whether “pulling his punches” to protect his job shows high
enough motives. Bright lights like Campbell Brown should consider
whether her stock ownership in ‘recreational battery companies’ should
justify her ‘smiling’ while CNN continues to rape democracy. Time-
Warner itself could be in danger of being shut down, when it is shown
that its business activities aren’t in the best interest of the
country, and of the world.

Folks, the primary reason for having… ‘punishments’ for wrongs is to
get people to STOP doing wrong things! In past eras, going to war was
the process by which new governments replaced old ones. My New
Constitution has used as its standard: Doing what is best for the vast
majority of Americans. “What is best” will necessitate stopping group-
against-group, party-against-party, and class-against-class fights.
By replacing such divisiveness with FAIR PLAY, the mechanisms of our
American way of life will get the fresh oiling that they sorely need!

Ron Paul has impressed me as someone who sticks to his principles. A
man like that quickly cuts any ‘strings’ that try to pull him one way
or another. One of my many complaints about Barack Obama, is that he
has enough soundly-attached strings on him to circle the globe a
zillion times. Obama could never be objective regarding the
ratification processes for my New Constitution. Corrupt business
influences desire to continue business as usual.

The advantage of having a one-day, POPULAR VOTE, only, ratification
process is that our corrupt Congress will get to have just one vote
per member—like every other duly registered voter in America! The
seated members of the HOUSE will get a two year grace period to remain
in office. After that, my ten year, total term limit will cut in. No
one needs to fear that this country will be “leaderless” during the
transition to a New Form of government. The improved efficiency
brought about because the House will no longer have to came to
agreement with the corrupt Senate, should make those last two years
productive ones for our most tenured representatives.

Other than to modify how our President is elected, nothing about the
duties and functions of the Executive Branch has been changed. And
very importantly, nothing about the organization nor function of our
armed services has changed. Additionally, the Second Amendment Right
to keep and bear arms has been expanded for law abiding citizens! At
every turn, individual rights are increased. Heretofore, those have
been known as our civil liberties. Never again will your or my civil
liberties be placed at the whim of those making or enforcing our
laws. So, as I explain more things about the New Constitution, please
know that you and yours are going to be EMPOWERED to get fair
treatment from your government!

Because RON PAUL is the best choice to be our President, I’m
recommending that Americans everywhere write in RON PAUL this
November. Ron himself likes Rep. Dennis Kucinich for his running
mate. So, if both of those men are in agreement to work together,
patriotic Americans—like you and me—can speed Paul’s ’revolution’
right along! I’ve not talked to him, but I suspect he will appreciate
your votes of encouragement by making contributions to his WEB page.
Now, let us UNITE to achieve our common goals!

A MIDCOURSE CORRECTION FOR AMERICA

Eighteen million men and women, all across America, have recently
voted for a qualified woman to be President.  By doing so, those same
men and women, all across America, voted AGAINST Barack Obama to be
President.  NOTHING that has happened this day—6/07/08—regardless of
any whoop-de-do—automatically changes the ideals of those eighteen
million men and women!  Their gut feelings—when they went into those
voting booths—surely, helped to guide them in making their decisions.
Now, gut feelings should aid them in deciding WHERE their loyalties

New candidates who vie for public office often play-up the fact that
they are political outsiders.  There’s a very real, implied corrupting-
influence if an office holder is seen to be one of the political
insiders.  Yet, the ‘power’ of being an incumbent favors having the
insiders get re elected.  That’s in spite of the fact that those
insiders have been part and parcel to the implied corruption.  These
days, corrupt dealings are largely accepted as… the way that things
are done in politics.

I was raised by a Southern Gentleman, to BE a Southern Gentleman.
Having good manners was stressed to me.  All of my life I’ve willingly
embraced the virtues—not only of being a gentleman—but of abiding with
the associated formalities.  PLAYING FAIR is a big part of being a
gentleman, as is respecting and protecting… the weaker sex.

All during the Democratic Party’s primaries, Hillary Clinton had to
take—without complaint—the many slights to her candidacy.  Those were
made on a continual basis by: A biased media; their ideologically
screened pundits; the choose-the-candidate-that-WE-want democratic
party leadership; by Barack Obama, himself; and by his many selfish
endorsers.  Clinton couldn’t defend herself… “like a man”, because she
isn’t a man.  She knows that a successful nominee for President will
need to have ‘fair and balanced’ media coverage, if such person hopes
to have any chance of being elected.  And she knows that only a
Democrat or Republican seems to have much chance of winning the
presidency.

Probably, Ron Paul is the most ideologically well-qualified man in
America to be President.  When discussing the Washington scene, Paul
is quite open in placing-blame-where-blame-is-due.  Effectively, Paul
is a lamb among wolves.  Yet, because of his good character, he won’t
allow his simple, common sense principles to be compromised.  Clinton,
on the other hand, is a diplomat.  She knows that in order to gain…
power, she must be able to work with both friends and enemies alike.
Often, that means… (symbolically at least), sleeping with the enemy.

Today, Clinton said: “I will be on the FRONTLINES of democracy!”  Last
Tuesday she said: “This is an important day for democracy!”  Yet,
Hillary Clinton is urging those eighteen million men and women, all
across America, to disregard the win-at-any-cost, anti FAIR play, and
anti democracy tactics of the Obama campaign.  All along, Clinton’s
plan “B” must have been: “If I don’t win, outright, (She DID, but
won’t fight for it…) I will just switch over to… ‘the enemy’—and all
of my supporters will follow along.”

I’m one of those (former) supporters of Hillary Clinton who won’t be
voting for ‘her choice’ for President.  EACH of those eighteen million
men and women who voted for Clinton probably did so—ether because she
has executive experience; she’s the more mature and stable candidate;
or because they liked the wisdom of her various visions for America.
Folks, every one of those, and other, valid motives for your having
voted are still waiting to be served!  NONE of you fine people should
automatically switch to the candidate of Clinton’s whim—unless your
own hopes and aspirations for America can be made closer to being a
reality!  Believe me: “Voting for Barack Obama will doom the hopes of
the majority to have their situations get better… or, at least, not
get any worse.”

Essentially, the problems with our government are personnel issues.
We just keep “hiring”toomany, egotistical and out-of-touch
politicians.  Those need to be weeded out and/or fired.  And… we’ve
allowed powerful business influences that use: Lobbying; “golf course”
and back-room deal making; and media advertising dollars to bias the
media, and to negatively sway the decisions that our government makes—
supposedly on our behalves.   Our government should be an
approximation of a true democracy.  But instead, it’s a closer
approximation of a dictatorship… run by selfish, big-business
interests.

The ‘threat’ to the USA by having Obama be elected President probably
won’t result from anything that Obama, himself, does.  Instead, his
election just gives the all-clear to continue business-as-usual in
Washington.  That means group-against-group, party-against-party, and
class-against-class fights.  The REAL threat to the USA that could
bring on more terrorism and even… nuclear war, results from our
government having given businesses, here, a Gold Pass Key to conduct
their dealings in other countries any way that they see fit.

If there’s a ‘pollution problem’ in this country that’s causing
Americans to die due to cancer… our government thinks it’s quite OK to
“solve” those issues by letting that industry move to another
country.  By so doing, it will be those people in the other countries
who die, not people, here…  When, cigarettes became recognized as… a
killer of millions, the tobacco companies maintained their sales by
sending their products to places like China—where there are no
“warning labels” required.  Whenever mining, here, starts killing the
land and sea wildlife due to runoff, those companies find alternative
sites in developing countries that have no restrictions.

The reason that the World Trade Center got brought down, was because
NYC and those tall buildings are (or were) symbols of American
capitalism.  The have-not nations of the World—that our government
lets our businesses freely exploit—sees how little we care about their
being treated FAIRLY.  When our leaders keep swearing to ‘protect and
defend’ Israel, we are siding with, and selling weapons to, a nation
that kicked Muslims off of their land without fair compensation.  And
we are siding with a nation that over-reacts to any, understandable,
minor violence—by killing and maiming more Muslims than was the number
of Jews who were hurt or killed.

So, is it any wonder that many Muslim’s hate the USA?  The great
number of Muslims in the world—and their concentration in countries
that American businesses gladly exploit—is setting the stage for
increasing terrorism in the USA and among our allies.  But there’s a
most simple solution!  CLEAN UP our own act in this country to have
FAIRNESS.  Then, put RESTRICTIONS on allowing our businesses to RAPE
(figuratively of course) any other country’s natural resources; labor
pool; environment; or general health and safety.  Because the US has
already been doing those bad things, we must begin making generous
concessions.  If we’ll do the latter, suddenly, the “motive” for
having our much needed businesses, here, move to other countries, just
isn’t there any more.  The “economy”—that is issue number one with the
voters—will start to improve, soon!

Much of the 85% discontent of Americans with the direction that this
country is heading results, directly or indirectly, from a
dissatisfaction with the LAWS that are in place, or which just got
enacted.  Simply put, the main cause of our discontent is: We havetoo
many ill-conceived and downright unfair LAWS!  My New Constitution,
when ratified, will MANDATE a review and revote of every single law on
that is on the books!  And the vote for passage for all laws, old or
new, becomes: 55 percent!  Never again will laws get passed that
aren’t liked by more than half of the people.  And 55 percent is only
a ‘probationary’ passage.  Unless a law passes by 60% or more, it must
be reviewed and revoted every four years.  And, if at any time, one
third of the House, or the President alone, thinks that a
controversial law doesn’t meet with the approval of the Citizens, such
law will be put in a referendum—bypassing House authority, completely.

Most Americans will like this: The House will have a ceiling on the
amount of taxes it can raise.  Such will be a percentage of the GNP.
And those taxes will be billed, just once a year, to the STATES based
on a state’s population.  (Folks, please don’t worry about ‘poor’
states.  There will be compensations to even out most inequities.)
Never again will the Federal government keep financial records on any
citizen!  And within several years, all of the taxation in the USA
will be sales taxes only.  Food and medicines will be tax exempt.  The
combined total of all taxes can’t exceed the ceiling without an
amendment to the New Constitution!

The above tidbits from my New Constitution should hint that I want
such document to be user friendly to the People.  But it will be:
“Violate at your own peril.” to those in government.  There are more
than a dozen circumstances, spelled out, in which a government
official may be either fired, or charged with a felony.  Screwing with
democracy in America will have very serious consequences!

My hints of ‘doom’ are mostly cautionary.  I’m not walking around with
‘a sign’ saying: “The World will end…”  in so many days.  On the
contrary, for the past twelve years, I’ve worked to be sure that the
relationships among nations and peoples can become favorable ones.
Simply by ratifying my New Constitution, things will begin to improve,
here.  If US companies want to stay in business, the New Constitution
mandates, ...
