Brilliant ! ,you have just given the Earth a 23 1/2 degree  annual
axial precession,congratulations

Sorry, the axis orientation didn't move.  No precession.
Do you even know what precession is?  Or is this another
word for which you have your own private definition?

Do you understand what he is trying to say?  If he is some
kind of visionary genius, I would hate to reject him due to
my own provincial biases.

I don't think anyone actually understands what he's
trying to say, as it seems to morph as soon as
someone gets close to pinning him down to a given
interpretation.

He seems to have some idea that the Earth's axis
is not (approximately) fixed in direction over the
year, but partakes of some extra motion that
results in the seasons.  Now, why he would want to
invoke a motion that is both impossible (conservation
of angular momentum) and unnecessary (fixed axial
direction + orbit = seasons) is beyond me.

Simple question that is already answered by watching the axial
rotation and rotational orientation (tilt) of Uranus and the seperate
motion where the rings turn through 360 degrees with respect to the
Sun and take a entire orbit to do it-

The full effect is seen in the excellent time lapse footage -

Concentrate on axial tilt to the Sun/orbital plane/whatever and you
get variable axial tilt or axial precession and good for you if that
is what you can live with.

Again,it just goes to show how much about planetary motion and its
effects are known.
