Imagine a planet in a circular orbit about its star.
Its rotation axis is vertical, that is, exactly
perpendilcular to its orbital plane. James, how would
seasons result?
The eliptical orbit is the basic cause.
The "No tilt" thought would not create no seasons in such a vertical
spun planet if eliptical orbit is a factor.
No tilt would only stop the swap of seasons from
North to South (our winter is thier summer stuff)
In fact though...no tilt needed at all for the seasons
to occur themselves without a swap.
(the tilt causes the swapping only)
So simply...what causes the actual seasons can not be based upon
the tilt alone.....
Take a non variant spinning object,
set it on an eliptical pass around a center point
like Earth does to the sun, and tada...
you will see a difference if you look and do such
like stated.
:)
I will soon make a 3D version when I get my new sofware
and computer...(should be another few days at most..)
