You make it sound like gravitation is "moving". I assume you are not
referring to the propagation of gravitational waves. Keeping that in
mind... gravity (curvature of spacetime) is not disappearing.
Please note that "string theory" is not a testable theory to date
and should probably not be considered science.
However some of the CERN researcher will be looking for the "effects"
of extra curled up dimensions in the coming months and years ahead.
