do not know that the Doppler Effect
is an "effect" unique to "reference frames"

The point was that you can' change the frequency of an oscillator
by running at it.

Train whistles too.
Light bulbs too.


I hate to be the one to tell you this Sammy,
but you don't change the output of a train whistle
nor the output of a light,
by running at it.

What you sense (Measure)
is a function of your environment.

For example,
if you close your eyes,
this does not cause the light to turn off.

You are an instrument Sammy,
and what you measure (Sense)
is affected by both the source and your environment.

You have to factor out your environment
in order to come up with some idea
of what is being emitted from a source.

Relativists have no clue about the difference between perceived
and physical.
You will never get them to think the perceived is not the physical.
They are in thier own little rubber ruler land and lost in "spacetime" also.
