when he points out that Sam Wormley
and all things in the universe,
are what they are,
and that I cannot change them by
running at them
projecting my thoughts and opinions onto them, etc.

"A thing is what it is."
Of course, what we know now is
that a thing was "what it was"
before it exchanged one or more units of action (Cycles)
with another thing,
and became "what it is."
