It appears that several posters are ignorant
of the fact that MIME encoding inhibits indenting,
and that this destroys the continuity of a post,
and wastes the time of folks
who read and reply to their posts.

I suggest that when replying to a post which is not indented,
that one insert a few equal signs above where their reply begins
in order to separate their reply from the poster who
is ignorant of the effects of MIME encoding.

Like this.
=====================

I suggest that intelligent posters,
who see that their posts are inserting strange characters or are not
indenting,
will correct the problem.

Of course, some posters are sociopaths
who like to screw up folks anyway they can.

The problem seems to affect Outlook Express more than other readers.

I suggest users install Thunderbird and use that for responses to these
'broken' posts.

Thunderbird? Yuck.
Just install OE-QuoteFix:
http://home.in.tum.de/~jain/software/oe-quotefix/
It's perfect.

OE-QuoteFix? Yuck, not perfect for everyone.

I agree that T'bird is also 'yuck', but since I only use it to reply to
broken posts, and most of these posts are broken because people use google
groups, and its rare that any post made via google groups is actually worth
replying to, therefoere I don't have to do it very often and it's not much
of a problem.

I use oequotefix all the time without any problem. Indeed it does
take some configuring, but it is much better than what the others do
with their silly Tom ===================== Potter lines :-)

I suggest that adding a quick line like
========================

makes more sense that switching to an inferior news reader,
or using a bulky add on
promoted by a guy who uses misdirection to get ad clicks.

Note that adding a line like
==================
let's guys like ignorant and unaware guys
know that they have a problem.

The bottom line is,
why make adjustments and complicate your life
to accommodate sociopaths and ignorant people,
when you can educate ignorant people,
and expose sociopaths?

If a poster persists in making posts that inhibits indents,
readers will know they are dealing with
either a stupid person, an ignorant person, or a sociopath,
and know better how to deal with them.

I would like to thank my pal Dork Moortel
for continuing to demonstrate
how sociopaths think and operate.

Note that Dork:

a. Supported a practice use by sociopaths
to screw up other folks.

b. Supported sociopaths who are using the practice.

c. Attacked and tried to discredit a poster
who called attention to a sociopathic practice.

d. Redirected the post to a newsgroup
frequented by sociopaths and
Dork's friends and family.
( I removed Dork's family newsgroup from this post.)

e. Tried to empower sociopaths by promoting the idea that
HONEST, rational, intelligent folks should adapt their behavior
to accommodate ignorant people and sociopaths.

I would also like to thank my pal Dork Moortel
for AGAIN demonstrating how dishonest people
edit posts in order to deceive the readers.

Thanks again for AGAIN demonstrating
how sociopaths and dishonest people operate Dork.
