Which of your fingers is more fundamental? Kind of a stoopid question
yours. Isaac Newton made a nice observation relating mass, force, etc.

Gravity is the force exerted by all objects having mass on all other
objects having mass. Newton's Law of Gravitation says that the
gravitational force between to masses is proportional to their masses
and inversely proportional to the square of the distance between them.

Newton's Law of Gravitation incorporates the inverse-square law,
which states that some physical quantity or strength is inversely
proportional to the square of the distance from the source of that
physical quantity. Gravity, light, and sound all obey the
inverse-square law.

Dear Sam:  Gravity has limits of its action.  When you say "...exerts
on ALL" other masses, that simply isn't true!  The latter error in
science is the cause of all of the arguements over an "open" vs. a
"closed" Universe.  By my invalidating M-M, I disprove Lorentz's
rubber-ruler notions which form the basis for SR and GR.  My
disproving both of the latter also disproves the Big Bang.

Except, of course, you have disproved no physics at all.  What
you have proved is that you have no knowledge of physics or
experimentation at all.

The Universe isn't expanding and doesn't need gravity to hold it
together!  To act over long distances, gravity must be manifested by
ether flow from areas of greater to lesser pressure... or... from
areas hear masses toward ether-deficient areas in those same masses.
The Swiss Cheese voids between galaxies are devoid of ether.  So, in
most cases, gravity doesn't act over distances much larger than the
galactic interval.  Gravity requires a continuous ether, and drop-in-
the-bucket ether variances, here, won't change the ether pressures way
over there!  — NoEinstein —

The humor in your statements is wearing thin. You need to find another
area of physics that you do not understand.
