hi herb . florecent is the same thing .
The gas conducts electricity as a semi conductor and the gas atoms mass till all the mass cant stay in orbit when the orbit gets too big .
its allready at c and at some point the mass of the electron wll be too much for the orbit so some mass will change direction and eject the orbit.

Hi (wild coyote) Fluorescent needs a phosphor tube because the
electric current passing from one end of the tube strike mercury
atoms, and that causes its atoms to emit ultraviolet light The
ultraviolet ray are invisible But since inside the tube they strike
the phosphor atoms, and that creates visible white light Fact is tj the
conversion of one kind of light into another is known as "fluorescense."
Nice taking with you. We have known each other for many moons. This
thought just jumped in Neon uses different gases inside so it can glow
red. You want a yellow glow use sodium Lots of street lights glow yellow
Your friend over the years Herb then Bert and now I go by TreBert

Guys, your explanations are a truly profound applications of/for
tj's "Gravityphysics" and Hebie Herbie's "G=EMC^2"
I always knew that you guys had it in you since you two are
the long lost illegitimate twins of Albert Einstein, the fornicator,
con-man and plagiarist. Finally, you guys have made your
debut on **web tv**. Congratulations and kudos to you, guys....
and... Thanks for the laughs!.... ahahahaha... ahahahahanson
