You've gotta be kidding, Potter! GTR is one of the most successful
theories to date. In more than 90 years, there has not been a
prediction of GTR that's been contradicted by an observation.

Potter has a different measure of "successful" than most folks. To
him, "successful" means that he can buy something at Target that is
based on its principles.

Of course, you CAN buy a GPS unit at Target that IS based on its
principles.

Potter then says that he could have built the GPS system without using
those principles, simply by making an ad-hoc correction to the GPS
clocks.

Of course, you can then ask why on earth would you make an ad-hoc
correction when a correction based on physical principles is
available.

At this point, Potter calls you a bigot.

Potter, here's a bit of background about GTR that I'm sure you
   will enjoy reading:

Oh, and Potter, if you feel the urge...
Bluster on, Potter, bluster some more! Froth at the mouth! Whatever!

Flipping a coin,
rolling a die,
 tunneling,
creating sparks,
observing an event...

General Relativity is continuous.
Reality is discrete.

There is no room for sentient man in General Relativity,
If you can perform any of these experiments,
you have disproved General Relativity.

General Relativity is a non-viable, non-cost-effective model of reality..
It is a Tower of Babel,
that generates more heat than light,
and wastes time, money, and brains on such
pursuits as black holes, warped spaces, time travel, time tunnels, etc.
