that this will seriously wound free speech and democracy.
When one has choices (for search engines) its had to make
the case the any one search engine has a monopoly. Where is
your search engine, Potter?

I assume that my pal Sammy meant "hard"

Correct Potter.

rather than "had", and "what" rather than "where".

No, really, where is your search engine, Potter?

As I have posted,
I use Firefox with the "hypersearch"and ""add to tool bar"add-oms.

I assume, Potter, you mean "add-ons".

When I run across a good search engine,
I enter it onto the Firefox search,

and when I want to search for information,
I copy the search phrase to the search box,
and select the particular search engine that I think
will do the best job.

Are you avoiding using google, because they are avoiding you, Potter?

I'm not "avoiding using google" Sammy,
I use them when the best fit my need.

I am just pointing out the danger of
allowing a monopoly to develop that
controls the collection and storage of information,
and the access to the information.

And considering that Google
has already begun to abuse their new found power,
and "cook the books" to promote the fiction that
Jews are virtuous victims and Blacks and Muslims are evil and stupid,
I suggest that folks should begin to look at alternates to Google,
and to alert their lawmakers to the danger.
