Re: The Principle of Equivalence Explained

You know what's odd, that there are 2 ways to slap someone in the
face. You can slap them with the intention of snapping them back into
reality and getting their *** in gear, or you can slap them simply
for the mere pleasure of slapping your fellow human being an act of
simple sadism.

I guess you could say that it is possible to slap someone out of love,
and also to slap someone out of hate.

There is a tremendous amount of confusion that surrounds any
discussion of racism, bigotry etc, because people cannot prove that
they are acting in goodfaith with goodwill. It IS possible to use the
word *** in such a fashion that it is compassionate toward blacks
and %100 sympathetic toward their plight. But the traditional use of
the word has been as an instrument of sadistic oppression.

There are so many problems when discussing these things, it is
inherently political on the most fundamental level of slight
differences in DNA, religion, whatever.

And that is why I see some value in religion, any religion, because it
serves as a kind of institutional affirmation of goodwill (usually).

I find the sterile vocabulary of the politically correct society to be
somewhat oppressive, but sincere in its attempt to mimic the
institutionalization of goodwill on a playing field which is
officially agnostic common discourse.

Fascinating subject, and no I really do not consider anyone here a
racist nor do I intend to brow beat anyone but I obviously could if I
wanted to but prefer to see everyone playing nicely together like a
beautiful rainbow of happy little clams.
