Ah, but the *best* weather reporter story I ever heard (apparently true)
came from an East Coast station a couple of years ago.

Setup: Female anchor, male weatherman. The weatherman had predicted a
foot of snow the night before, and the snow never developed.

When the anchor introduced the weather segment, she turned to the
weatherman and said, "So, what happened to the 12 inches you promised me
last night?!"

They couldn't even cut to commercial for more than 30 seconds, the
entire crew was laughing so hard...
