Sheesh, look at all the commotion I caused here...
I do appreciate the comments of those who are indignant about this issue
on my behalf. I am indignant as well. And for the record, let me state
to all concerned that my agent is looking into the matter.
Given the passion for historical accuracy (nitpickiness?) endemic to the
group, I must also point out that the version of the book online is
apparently the uncorrected proofs version, *not* the final version. So
if you want the definitive edition, you'll still have to buy the actual
book...
