Translated: OM, who sounds like a conservative or libertarian, has
such a hard-on for space that he'd use taxes to make his fellow
citizens pay for it. What's wrong with this picture?

Sorry, but in a democracy the budget appropriations process -- however
lame -- IS how "we" express how much of competing goods x, y, and z
"we" want.

You've been losing for ~34 years now. Are you going to keep frothing,
or find a way to get what you (and I) want for less?
