But there are variations on even that original Navy Football fight song-
including one where "Anchors Aweigh, my boys, Anchors Aweigh." is
"Anchors Aweigh, my boys, anchors _away_."; I imagine it's if you are
attempting to move on the Army goal line or trying to keep them out of
your end zone- and no self-respecting Naval Cadet would ever, for any
reason, allow an Army man to enter his end zone. That is an area
reserved for naval seamen only. ;-)
