Foam logic. No one died "recently" -- although there haven't been that many
flights -- so it's safe. Your committment to safety is clear.

This ignores the fact that Soyuzii continues to have problems.

Commercial aircraft tend to have problems many years after they first flew,
despite many generations of design.

Automobiles continue to have problems after they first rolled, despite many
generations of design.

Copy machines are still problematic.

"Tends to survive" -- more foam logic.

Using YOUR method of analysis, you could make a stronger case that foam hits
on Orbiters are simple maintenance issues than the Soyuz are safe since their
crews tend to survive (recently).
