I liked the corridor the crew had to transverse that had the giant
meat tenderizers banging up and down. This corridor existed on the ship for
no apparent reason, other then it was used in an episode. The aliens
reproduced it exactingly because it had been in the series.
Here's a thought. Imagine if this movie had been done about fifteen
years earlier, but they used the cast of Star Trek. Think of it, William
Shatner, Leonard Nimoy, James Doohan, the black chick, Russian guy, and
George Takei. Or better yet the actors from Battle Star Galactica.
