And after, too. Buying votes for a space project because it can be
organized as foreign aid to the Russians is *NOT* a good reason for
doing it. Frankly, by the time period you're talking about, we would
have probably been better off canceling it and starting over a few
years later, anyway. That was certainly what I wanted to do and I'm
pretty pro-space.
