Yeah, I was thinking TCP/IP wouldn't make much sense unless there was a
network of routing stations in solar orbit. These could be used as a
relay, and also boost signal between ends for faster communication.
Then again, I don't see much advantange of TCP/IP in this situation
either, instead of just using standard deep space comm protocols and
using relay stations as a signal boost.
TCP/IP really would only make sense if there wasn't an easy, direct
link to the satellite. Routing just for the heck of routing doesn't
make much sense.
