That's true, and the end is perhaps a bit too close and personal and
downright lethal for anyone that's been in the path of our resident
energy/blood-sucking warlord. Thus instead of having our global energy
situation reasonably under control, and thereby the trillion plus
dollars and euros better spent and/or available for the likes of Hubble
(actually it's several trillions if you'd care to honestly take this as
a global argument from the very get-go of those good old space-race
days, of the perpetrated cold-war fiasco of disinformation-R-us and
essentially up-yours that almost brought us into WW-III), instead we
haven't the resources nor willing talents as to sustain the likes of
Hubble, nor to accomplish so much other that should have been a done
deal as of decades ago.

BTW; I've offered to pay matching funds for the likes of sustaining
Hubble, and
that should have been sufficient to have made the difference, as money
always talks.
