In a lot of collaborative groups I've been in, the person complaining the
loudest about a task not being done is considered to have volunteered
him/herself for the task. I observe that this is also considered the norm
for open-source software development projects as well.

Your complaints are counter-productive. If you'd spent half the effort
OCRing the report as you have whining and mewling that no one will do it
for you, you'd be a good part of the way done by now. As it is, you have
not exactly done a stellar job convincing anyone to do it for you.

Don't know how? Look on it as a chance to learn how. An opportunity for
personal improvement and growth, which in the past you have claimed to
cherish.
