Do it *for me*? I don't need it done. My suggestion was made for the
purpose of helping out the untold number of people out there who know
nothing of the report.
Don't know how? I've already stated that there is software out there
that will do the conversion. And that there are freeware versions
available.
About your comment regarding the practice of tasking the person who
raises the problem to do the work to fix that problem, I consider
leaders who do that to be making a mistake of the worst kind. You are
punishing innovation. It's about the quickest way I know for stifling
freedom of expression within a group environment.
My ideal for a leader of a group when someone raises an important issue
is for that leader to totally encourage and support that behavior.
Yes, if the need is deemed important enough then extra work will need
to be done. The leader can then ask, "Who would like to take charge of
getting this fixed?" If the person who initially brought the problem
to light says, "I would", then great. If no one jumps, then I would
recommend tasking the laziest person in the group to do it. One great
way for curing sloth is to exercise.
Now I may someday decide to do it myself. But as stated above, I have
no need whatsoever. It is a "want" that I have expressed. Nobody to
date that I know of has considered it important enough, and that
includes myself. We all have our priorities. Assuming that you care
about it, you decided to put your energy into rebutting my efforts. I
have yet to see anyone here choose to BUILD upon the suggestion.
