I did a quick search but came up empty handed. What *are* you talking about?
I've heard of this thing also. IIRC, it was to use some sort of isotope to heat the point and would actually burn the letters onto the paper. Sort of like writing with a soldering iron. When you weren't writing with it, maybe you could use it to remove warts. :-)
